AZP Asphalt Distributor





AZP Asphalt Distributor device is designed by AZP in order to meet foreign customer’s requirements on convenience of both different truck chassis and transportation. The device has integrated current fully developed technology of asphalt distribution truck of AZP and optimum design with a reasonable matching structure and a high universality which can fully satisfy the requirements of foreign customers. The asphalt tank of 4000L volume is of good heat preservation effect by using insulating layer of aluminum silicate which thickness is increased to 60mm. The power system can fully satisfy the requirements of customers on power by using Japanese YANMAR diesel oil engine with a output power of 21kW. The rear spraying pipe lifting with a circulating system is controlled by a worm wheel worm and can realize stop and spraying at any position. Patented sector nozzle is of a good appearance and a high precision of spraying and a good pulverization effect and good spraying uniformity. The entire truck is of optimum design and can fully satisfy the requirements of customers and is of user friendliness.
1. Front Platform
The front platform consists of engine assembly, air compressor, hydraulic pump, hydraulic oil tank and fuel oil tank.

2. Asphalt Tank
The asphalt tank (Fig 1) consists of the inner tank, insulating material, outer casing, clapboard, combustion chamber, internal piping, air storage tank, refill orifice, volume meter and decorative board etc.. The tank is elliptic and is welded with the inner and outer layers of steel sheet and 60mm of insulating material of aluminium silicate was packed between the two layers of steel sheet. The tank is covered with stainless steel sheet providing a beautiful appearance and convenience in cleaning. There is a sank channel at the bottom of the tank which is used to drain the asphalt of tank completely. Five supporting feet at the bottom of the tank and auxiliary beam are welded together and then are fixed on the truck frame. Volume meter is used for indicating the level of asphalt in the tank. The oil filling orifice is composed of two parts. The underneath cover should be opened when required to enter the tank for service, only the cap is opened usually for asphalt filling.

3. Power transmission system
The power transmission system consists of engine, generator, belt wheel, driven shaft and hydraulic pump as shown as following figure: the entire power system is provided with power with a 21kW Japanese YANMAR 3TNV88A-PFN generator.

4. Combustion system
The heating system of the entire truck consists of burner, fuel oil tank, fuel filter and combustion chamber. Its operation principle is as shown in the following Fig 4.

The asphalt pump and piping system consists of asphalt pump, filter, valve, spraying pipeline and nozzle. Its main functions are as follows: self-sucking adding asphalt, rear line pipes spraying and portable pipes spraying.
6. Asphalt piping cleaning system
Piping cleaning system (Fig. 6) consists of diesel oil cleaning and high pressure air cleaning. Diesel oil cleaning consists of diesel oil tank, copper ball valve and pipes. High pressure air cleaning system consists of air storage tank, one-way valve and air valve. Asphalt pump rotates at low speed and diesel passes via oil input copper ball valve, filter, asphalt, pump and sprays from the nozzle.

During high pressure air cleaning: close diesel oil valve, asphalt pump rotates at low speed, open main pipe air valve, high pressure air passes via valves, filter, asphalt pump, rear spraying pipe, nozzle, and sprays the asphalt and diesel oil out. The one-way valve prevents asphalt from returning to the air storage tank.
